HOLLYOAKS STARS TURN OUT

Members of the hit television series Hollyoaks will be strutting their stuff on the pitch in Nailsworth on Saturday 2 April 2011, taking on a Gloucestershire team including Martin Kemp and Steve Norman from Spandau Ballet, as well as several staff members from BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

The charity event will be raising funds for the Cleft Lip & Palate Association (CLAPA), and will take place at The New Lawn, home of Forest Green Rovers Football Club.

Paula Brown has organised the event, inspired as two of her three children were born with cleft palates. While the event will also raise funds for the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital Children’s Centre, and a Liverpool charity at the request of Nick Pickard who plays Tony Hutchinson in Hollyoaks.

The stars will also be auctioning off their new Soccer Jerseys in aid of charity.
