Yaya Toure might be leaving Manchester City in the summer

There is news coming that Yaya Toure might be leaving Manchester City in the summer with his agents saying that there are big European clubs interested in signing the Ivorian defender. Toure, who has still one year left on his contract, has yet to receive another deal with City.

With Pep Guardiola coming to Manchester City, Yaya Toure will be keen to find another club that will ensure that he gets enough playing time next season. Indeed, it is Guardiola who sold Toure when he was at Barcelona, and the Ivorian might want to avoid any clash with the new manager.

According to his agent, DimitrySelu, Yaya Toure should have been treated differently. He gave everything for the club and would have expected a new deal from the Sky Blues ahead of the new season.

Instead, there has been nothing concrete offered by Manchester City. As a result, Toure will be on the look for another club that will provide him a better deal.

Yaya Toure would have liked to stay in the Premier League, but so far there has been no offer from any England clubs. Among the European clubs that might be interested in signing the Ivorian, we have Bayern Munich, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.

There have also been rumors that teams such as Chinese club Shanghai SIPG and Italian side Inter Milan might be interested in signing the 32-year old midfielder.

Yaya Toure has made 26 Premier League appearances this season and has managed to score six goals during this period. Predominantly an attacking midfielder, Yaya Toure can also play as a defensive midfielder. His experience of winning the Premier League title twice, the FA Cup and the Community Shield will be a great addition to any team requiring a quality midfielder.
