Manchester City recently played a Premier League match against Chelsea and the team of Manuel Pellegrini claimed a convincing 3-0 triumph. Yaya Toure had a few things to say in relation to this game.

The Ivorian midfielder considers the performance from his teammates in this match to be one of the best that they have displayed from the entire season. 3 goals from Sergio Aguero was more than enough for Manchester City to seal the victory against Chelsea and seal all 3 points from this game.

Yaya Toure revealed information about his team planned for this match and how they performed which helped in snatching the victory as the veteran midfielder said: “We played very well and started by trying to control the game and I thought the whole team played really well,”

“I think it was one of the best games we’ve played this season because it is not easy to dominate the way we did when playing at Stamford Bridge where it is always difficult. When Samir, De Bruyne and Aguero are on the field together they play very well and can hurt the opposition. I like to play everywhere to help the team. I was delighted to help my team-mates because I’ve missed two or three games through injury and it’s always difficult for me to watch my team-mates play without me.’’

Manchester City is attempting to collect as many points as possible in these finals stages of the Premier League as they want to stay in the top spots of the English league and Yaya Toure believes that this victory against Chelsea was huge for his team, especially now in this crucial period of the campaign.

The 32 year old midfielder has recently been suffering with injuries and this has forced him to stay out of action for a few matches but he was delighted to be back in action to play against Chelsea.
