BARCA SUFFER

Barcelona has been going through a series of negative results since they were eliminated from the Champions League a few weeks ago when they travelled to the Vicente Calderon and locked horns with Athletic Madrid but a solitary goal from Koke saw the team of Gerardo Martino get kicked out from the European tournament.

Things continued going on a bad streak for Barcelona a few days later when Granada managed to secure a very surprising victory. This triumph has given Granada some breathing space as they are a few points away from the bottom relegation zone but for Barcelona on the other hand it’s another story as it has seriously hurt their chances of winning the Spanish League, Barcelona can still win it but Athletic Madrid are at the top of La Liga with a big advantage.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid was the next squad to capitalize on the recent string of disappointing performances as their rivals secured the Copa del Rey silverware after Gareth Bale made a late minute run and finished off by scoring the winning goal which edged out the victory for Real Madrid. They are now odds on favourites for the Champions League according to the brasilia meksiko todennäköisyys website.

Now that Barcelona has been knocked out from the Champions League and Copa del Rey, their only chance of lifting a trophy in this season is through the league but even that seems to be a little far-fetched at this point.

Gerardo Martino Martino’s debut season kicked off in fine form as he went through a streak of 14 matches without losing and was at the top of the Spanish League for a substantial amount of time but is turning out to be a nightmare as he might not be able to secure a single piece of silverware and the possibility of being relegated is escalating.
