CRISTIANO RONALDO NAMED IN PFA TEAM OF THE YEAR THIS SEASON

Cristiano Ronaldo has been named in the PFA Team of the Year, an honour voted on by his fellow professionals. Amid a poor season for Manchester United, Ronaldo stood out, and was the only Red Devils player named in the PFA XI, BBC Sport report.

The full team was: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Rudiger, Cancelo; Bernardo Silva, Thiago, De Bruyne, Salah, Mane, Ronaldo. Ronaldo scored 18 Premier League goals in 30 Premier League games, just five off the leaders, averaging a goal every 137 minutes.

Ronaldo may not have been able to win a trophy in his first year back at Manchester United, but he is not short of individual honors. This is the 13th honour Ronaldo has received since returning to Manchester United at the start of last season. These include five club player of the month awards and two Premier League awards, as well as his Manchester United top goalscorer award.
